As for leaving NYC for a minute, he came accross new and different things not the same in NYC. As Ninocarta was going through college, one day a kid he met name flaco told him about a radio station he was going to go to freestyle on. Ninocarta didn't have anything to do that day so he went up there with Flaco. When Ninocarta got there, he knew that college had a radio station but he only heard one show during the week.He didn't know about that show he was going to. At the show he met a couple of other cats called Illcartell from the bogie bown too.

freestyle.They were killing the radio with the freestyles. That dj one day called illcartel and told them about a concert going on with Dj Doo WOP and Rampage from the Flip Mode Squad. That dj hooded it up for Illcartel and the rest of them to freestyle as openers. After that week,the dj on that show they freestyled on, stopped airing his show. As months went by they hung out alot freestyling on the streets.

As Ninocarta was in college he decided to check out his college radio station. He went to other dj shows to find out what he has to do to get on. After a couple of years of viewing and spectating he got through getting on. He started to run his shows one hour a week to practice and after a couple of months he was holden it down as DJ Nino Underground Radio. As he continued, his brother saw what he was doing and was throwing him uncut and exclusive record vinyl. When callers were calling him on his show, lots of them were asking " Do you have this, this and that"? His answer was

When he was going into his third year on the radio he took on a new challenge to go on that radio station him, Flaco and Illcartell use to freestyle on. Dj nino was doing his thing on two radio stations. For the radio stations being college radio, djs were coming in and out.

One of the stations had low wattage of 100 watts to cover only 15 mile radius N/S/E/W. The other staion had 10,000 watts covering about 50 miles all four ways. The one with 100 watts had better internet outreach and the 10,000 watts station had more coverage in the area. No matter what, Dj Nino was still holden it down on both radio stations not favoring one over the other.

Dj Nino had cats come to his show to freestyle and show off there skills. Freestyling on Dj Nino's show gave more listeners urge to listen over the web and on the radio. People would drive up to the show from the area to be apart of his show. Dj Nino gave lots of luv to those who gave him respect on his show. He gave the opportunity for people to hear other people's music in the community like hip hop and R&B. Some artist gave music they recorded like Rock , Country, Techno etc. Dj Nino gave the respect to pass it to another dj on the station if that wasn't of his interest.

On day when Dj Nino was alone on his show during the semester break on a wednesday night. He was on the air and the dj whose show was before his stayed during Dj Nino's show for a little while. The stations door rang and the other dj went to get it. He came back to Dj Nino and told him there are about twelve people at the door. Dj Nino went to the door and said "what's up?. The people were from the BXXXX Gang. They said they came up to freestyle. Dj Nino told them they can't all freestyle on his show because of rules but a couple can freestyle , KEEPING IT REAL(no cursing on the radio). The show went on and they held it down with Dj Nino.

For being on the two radio stations interacting with artists, Dj Nino did new things instead of keeping his shows in the same format. when he got on the other station he ended his show and joined another dj's show on that staion. At that same time he started doing parties for high schools and junior high school kids at the B&G CLub.

On day at a record store Dj Nino saw this guy who use to come up to his show the first year and freestyle. That Kid asked Dj Nino can he come up and freestyle and bring his friend. Dj Nino wasn't going to be at the dj's show that night because he was doin the B&G Club.The show before that show was dead air , so Dj Nino went on the air to kill the dead air till the dj show Dj Nino normally is on comes on. He let those guys freestyle. Dj Nino didn't listen close to what they was saying. They were dissing someone. Finally the dj from the show Dj Nino normally was on, came and told him they were cursing on the radio.

As weeks went by, Dj Nino heard on the streets that a dj was dissing Dj nino on one of the stations. Dj Nino was real surprised. Dj nino met up with another dj that works with the dj who was dissing him. That Dj told Dj Nino, word was on the street Dj Nino had someone dissing someone else(wutang affiliated) on the other station and that's all he said. Dj Nino didn't know that group that was being dissed(wutang affiliated). Dj nino though that those guy that was on the show cursing was who it was. He found out who was being dissed(wutang affiliated group).Dj nino went to the streets to find this group. He found them and the problem was squashed. Dj Nino was still on the radio and let listeners know on the radio about the problem and unity result. The radio stations at that time considered Dj Nino a treat to the stations. The radio stations terminated his show time on both stations.

The hate was great and that gave Dj Nino more of a challenge to take further steps forward. Dj Nino was invited to joined the (Wutang affiliated)group. He started making mix tape exclusives, started traveling on tours in the United States with platinum artists and exclusive artist as a road manager and dj technician. Back in NYC Dj Nino has been putting out promotional mixtapes WITH his YEAH YEAH YEAH !!! exposing new and exclusive artists.

One day Dj Nino was in the studio with (wutang affiliated) group doing a mixtape. Two of the Wutang artist were there freestyling with exclusives for Dj Nino's mixtape. One of the artist asked " what ever happened to that dj on the radio who was dissing wutang"? The Owner said "That was him", and pointed at Dj Nino. Heads went up and a lot of laughs came out with smoke in the air. The Story was told to Dj Nino about what went down after hearing about THAT Diss.

GOING BACK TO THE WEEK AFTER HEARING THAT DISS THEY WENT 20 DEEP UP TO THE CAMPUS WHERE THE DISS WAS HEARD. WHEN THEY WENT TO THE STATION THE DOOR WAS LOCKED. THE DJ WHOS SHOW WAS DEAD AIR WHEN DJ NINO WENT ON THAT WEEK BEFORE WAS THERE. HE SAW THEM IN THE HALL AND CALLED THE CAMPUS POLICE. THE CAMPUS POLICE CAME AND ESCORT THEM OFF THE CAMPUS. THEY HEARD DJ NINO WAS ON THE OTHER STATION TOO, SO THEY WENT UP THERE TO FIND HIM. WHEN THEY GOT TO THE OTHER STATION THAT DJ THAT WAS DISSING DJ NINO AFTER, WAS THERE AND HE DIDN'T WANT TO OPEN THE DOOR. HE WAS SCARED AND DIDN'T WANT TO LET THEM IN. HE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO LET THEM IN. THEY WENT IN AND TOOK OVER HIS SHOW. SAYING "DJ NINO BRING YOUR AXX HERE". THAT DJ GOT SO SCARED HE TOOK PICTURES AND PUT IT ON HIS WEB SITE THE FOLLOWING WEEK.

Dj Ninocarta has appeared in many place all over.He's been on tours, shows etc. with artists like:MOP, Pharoah Monch, Dj Sratch, Cormega,Smiley the Ghetto Child, Pitch Black, ODB, Brooklyn Zoo,Mr Cheeks, MOS DEF, Gang Starr,Joe Budden,Dippset, NAS and the list goes on.
